Our annual Legendary Service Stories Contest demonstrates our colleagues amazing character, illustrated by the full-scale commitment to giving back to the communities in which we work and live.
We continue to recognize and celebrate our Legendary Service Stories Contest through highlighting our winners, to share their stories, to inspire us.
This month, we spotlight, Adonis Melendez, Expense Management Coordinator in our New Jersey office. He is a great example of our ICARE service model of being Innovative, Collaborative, Attentive, Responsive and Empowered.
The first person to volunteer and lend a helping hand is Adonis, demonstrating our epitome of ICARE.
This past year alone, Adonis has played an instrumental role in Weichert’s food drive, book drive, holiday cookie sales, Red Cross dinner, golf outing, park restoration, 5k benefit and school supplies collection drive for students in need.
He also played a major contributor to Expense Management’s annual Daffodil Sales fundraiser to fight cancer, to ensure this event was an incredible success. He organized the signing of humble cards of care for our colleagues in Houston and Miami, who were impacted by some of the most destructive hurricanes ever.
While Adonis’ generous nature has impacted many of our volunteer efforts, his good works extend well outside the Weichert world. You can usually find him helping out a local soup kitchen and he is also involved in the New Brunswick Education Foundation (NBEF). His work with NBEF includes assisting with mentorship, the scholarship application drive and volunteer programs.
He gives his all to every cause he is passionate about- and as you can gather, there are many. The spirit and compassion he exhibits on a daily basis as he pursues these charitable endeavors is inspiring to all who know him, but especially to our colleagues.
Congratulations, Adonis, for your passion to volunteer and the Legendary Service that you provide not only inside the office but outside to the community as well!
