While conventional wisdom holds that the year-end holidays are “the season of giving,” we’re proud to see our colleagues view giving back to their communities as a year-long endeavor.
In fact, giving back through volunteerism is one of our core values, as seen through our WeCARE efforts.
Recently, our Weichert and MI colleagues teamed to demonstrate that they’re not just Stronger Together when it comes to delivering Legendary Service, but also in showing how much WeCARE.
During one of our Integration Task Force meetings, colleagues participated in a team-building exercise, assembling bicycles that were given to underprivileged children through the Boys and Girls Club of Union County, New Jersey.
The exercise, proposed by Stewart McCardle, SVP, Supply Chain and Global Business Analyst and Chris Brunone, EVP, Talent Development and Colleague Engagement, is another example of how our colleagues channel their passion for helping families being relocated into helping families in their communities.
Chris explains that as a company, we pride ourselves on being the very best in the transition business, operating in that zone where change, anxiety and disruption hold hands with opportunity, support and expertise.
While our focus is on providing remarkable, seamless and Legendary experiences to our clients in helping them meet their strategic talent objectives, we have colleagues who are equally passionate about making our local communities stronger and improving the lives of others who are far less fortunate than us. In this regard, our WeCARE efforts around the world are a testament to their commitment and character.
Legendary Service only happens with people who are really good at what they do understand that business and life are inextricably woven together,” says Chris. “That is why I am so very proud of everything our colleagues do, in our offices and in their communities, to make life for others a more special occasion.Chris Brunone
