One of our teams were seeking a new way to process cash payroll in our single-system mobility management platform, MyWIN in an efficient, timely, and accurate manner. What was our solution? Rather, who was our solution? Ross.
After just a few conversations, Ross whipped up a proposal. It was going to be hard, and extremely time intensive, but he was fairly confident it could work. And with the help of several people, we ultimately presented the proposal.
So how’d it go? It. Was. Amazing.
We feverishly worked together testing and adjusting scripts, resulting in our Payroll Processor – which was developed, tested, and implemented all within a month! Of course, the big benefit was processing payroll timely and accurately, but this initiative also sparked a surge of innovative and creative thinking within the larger team.
The more we explained our new Payroll Processor to end users, the more they understood the larger and possible applications. Then we started proposing other possible solutions with respect to processes, reporting and queries. The creative energy was on full blast.
We now have several key templates, such as reports which identify unbilled deliverables, timely filed comparison reports, and audit reports to verify if updates were made in our Payroll Processor. The uses are seemingly boundless.
Ross’ dedication to our team doesn’t end there. He also took the time to train people in great detail on the magic of how our Payroll Processor works – to the point where colleagues could write their own templates!
Our team is now empowered to make simple templates that increase their efficiency and allow Ross to focus on the harder tasks his team has set before him. Because of Ross’ development and continued support of our Payroll Processor, we have increased morale and job satisfaction, regained confidence in the work our teams do and successfully provided our clients with the deliverables they expect, when they expect them.
To our colleagues, Ross is the definition of Legendary.
