Speakers Lounge @ CERC’s Capital Region Event 03.10.2020 | Morgan E. Wiedmann

Our thought leaders are always on top of the latest industry trends and use their subject matter expertise throughout our fast paced and growing industry. From speaking at conferences, to hosting roundtables, to contributing to industry publications, our colleagues are frequently called upon around the globe to contribute and help shape conversations around industry hot topics. And we want to share our knowledge with you, in an effort to propel mobility together!

Last week we had great representation of our Weichert SMEs around the globe at industry events for FEM, NERA, BAMM and also the Canadian Employee Relocation Council’s (CERC) Capital Region Event in Ottawa.

Jennifer Connell, VP Advisory Services, presented about the trends surrounding International Extended Business Travel (EBT), how companies administer these assignments, and challenges from her recent research project on EBTs.

“As usual, the speakers were well versed and their knowledge exceeded my expectations!” exclaimed Katherine Bouchard, Team Lead, Global Compensation Services.

Jen also shared her expertise during a presentation on Mobility 101 to the Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE).

This was the first time that these associations co-hosted an education forum and it was a natural fit! Eager to learn about trends within each other’s industries, over 100 attendees agreed that collaboration between talent mobility and business travel will only enhance our respective disciplines!
