We’re thrilled to introduce EPISODE 14 of our smash hit video web series: “Let’s Make Work Happen”!

Join Jennifer Connell, web series host and fearless leader of our Advisory Services team, for another candid chat with our industry’s top movers, shakers, and game-changers! Together, Jen and her guests explore the hottest topics igniting conversations across the ever-evolving mobility landscape.

In the hot seat today is Stephen Cryne, President, CEO, and welcoming face of the Canadian Employee Relocation Council (CERC). CERC is a key player in talent mobility — in Canada and internationally — leading the way in research, education, and policy advocacy to make moving talent across borders smoother and smarter.

Stephen joins Jen to unpack the latest global survey from Ipsos Public Research and CERC, featuring insights from over 10,000 workers across 19 countries. They dive into shifting attitudes toward international relocation, the rise of remote work, post-pandemic values, and what today’s employees really want — flexibility and balance.

“We have to get organizations thinking that global mobility is not just a transaction. It’s not just about moving somebody from point A to point B. It’s about moving ideas, creators, and innovators. We need to make sure that we’re promoting the strategic business advantage of global mobility. It has to be seen as a business imperative, not just a transaction that’s handled off the corner of somebody’s desk in finance or human resources. Really, today, if companies are serious about trying to get the talent that’s needed, and keep that talent, and if global mobility is one of the tools, then they have to look at it in a more strategic manner than they have done in the past.”

Stephen and Jen also explain how mobility managers can use the findings from this research to better support their teams and drive stronger, future-ready programs.

Thanks for sharing how you’re Making Work Happen, Stephen!
